the other day i was driving around and saw this house that was power washed,  obviously by someone that did not know what they were doing.  i took these pictures to demonstrate the damage that can be done with a pressure washer in the wrong hands.  this is aluminum siding which was to be cleaned  with a “soft Wash” type cleaning and treated withgreat care, now this for this house to look right, the outside layer of oxidation has to be removed using somewhat moderate pressure and then repainted which could cost around 1100 dollars.

Today anyone can buy a pressure washer at The Home depot for 2 to 3 hundred dollars and think that just because they have a pressure washer they can clean anything. i always say that it is not that pressure that does the cleaning but the combination of the right cleaning agents fallowed by a proper rinse.   i think in most cases, it is cheaper for people to just have their houses cleaned by us in the first place then to buy a cheap knock-off brand pressure washer and then try to do it themselves  and realize thet it is harder then it looks.  if we were to clean this house it would have cost  them 150.00
